Maincast studio was created in June 2018 in Kiev by a group of partners who had already had experience with a similar startup, but needed funding. According to the founders of Maincast, the starting investment in the company was about $700-800 thousand. But two months after the start of work, there was a shortage of operating funds and the question of finding a reliable investor arose. At that time Maxim Krippa did not have much experience with the cybersport segment and doubted its prospects. However, the investor did respond to the offer and became a shareholder of Maincast in the late summer of 2018.
